Kirktonholme Nursery is a two-storey house in a residential area, in the East End of Glasgow. The nursery has a safe enclosed garden at the rear of the property, and a newly developed front garden, where outdoor play is a regular feature of the daily routine in all the rooms. We are lucky that Tollcross Park is within walking distance and we have all the local amenities near by.
The nursery has been established from March 2003 and provides full and part-time daycare for a maximum of 63 children from birth- preschool between the hours of 8.00am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks of the year. The nursery is in partnership with Glasgow City Council to provide government preschool funding.

Here are just a few of our parents comment’s that were included in Care Commission Report in July 08.
‘The nursery offers plenty of activities and toys for my child and also has a good outdoor area for children.’
‘I think it is very inviting all the time and I never worry about the safety and security as it always seems to be a priority’.
‘The nursery is always bright and cheery. It’s good the staff take full advantage of the front and back garden.’
‘We are very happy with the care our child receives. The staff are very welcoming and our child has a good bond with her keyworker. Everything you’d expect is always in place, not just when an inspection is due. Our child is really happy here and that’s what’s most important’ .
As the nursery manager I would like to take this opportunity to invite anyone interested in a place for their child to contact me and arrange a suitable time for you to visit the nursery and see how wonderful it is for yourself.
