Kirktonholme Nursery Ayr is a Private Nursery providing a safe, pleasant and stimulating environment with all rooms being bright and airy and decorated to a very high standard. We have a small but very well resourced outdoor area which is used daily, regardless of weather, to promote active learning in the open-air.
Our open door policy encourages parents to make comment, suggestions and to take an active part in all aspects of Nursery School life. Two formal parents’ evenings are scheduled throughout the year to discuss children’s progress.
Staff who work with our under two’s are kind, sensitive and respectful and establish close relationships with children and parents. They interact effectively and are responsive to individual needs. Babies and toddlers enjoy an appropriate range of experiences, including exploration of natural materials that provide learning opportunities using all their senses.
